A+ Practical Applications Part One, part of a two part series, covers the fundamentals of computer technology and the issues revolving around the PC world. Included in this part is an exploration of basic computer terminology, the function of some of the more common components inside an average computer as well as common problem and how to troubleshoot them. CompTIA A+ Practical Application is an extension of the knowledge and skills identified in CompTIA A+ Essentials, with more of a "hands-on" orientation focused on scenarios in which troubleshooting and tools must be applied to resolve problems. The CompTIA A+ Practical Applications exam is made up of 100 questions and lasts 90 minutes. You will need a passing score of 700 for CompTia A+ Practical Applications on a scale of 100 to 900.
