Participants will build complete production-style reports using Oracle Reports and its various layout styles such as master-detail, tabular, label, and matrix. Both paper and web-based reports will be covered. Methods of embedding images and other graphical items will be covered as well as how to include user-defined parameters and add PL/SQL code to customize reports. In addition to the lab exercises, eight different reports will be developed by the students during the class to demonstrate lecture topics as they are presented.
